Alto Nottingham reached out to MJL Digital prior to the launch of its brand-new bar in central Nottingham.
With backing from boxing legend Carl Froch, Alto is a stylish and modern venue with the city’s only roof terrace, four bars and an exclusive VIP area. We had our work cut out to ensure that the website’s brand reflects the contemporary and upmarket identity of the bar.
Our designer took the client’s brief on board and delivered a stunning user interface design which proudly showcases the bar’s menus and upcoming events.
Food and drink menus are an inherently difficult aspect of web design, as there’s usually a lot of content and information that needs to be displayed in a digestible manner for the customer. We circumvented this issue with an internal navigation menu on the larger menu pages, making it a breeze to locate the relevant section and ultimately find what the user is searching for as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Full Content Management System Integration
We opted to integrate the WordPress content management system into the back-end of this project, as it affords us the flexibility desired by the client within a familiar and user-friendly dashboard.
The client can log-in to the back-end and edit all aspects of the website’s content. New events can be added quickly and easily, menu items and prices can be amended, and new photographs from the bar’s photographer can be added to the Gallery.
It’s been a pleasure working with Alto Nottingham on this project. If you’d like us to apply our expertise to your bar or restaurant’s website, get in touch today.
