Do you need a website for your game development, publishing, PR or marketing studio? You’ve found the right guy!
My name’s Martyn. I’ve been designing and developing bespoke websites for twelve years, most recently spending five years specialising in websites for the private education sector.
I’ve developed a strong portfolio and a deep knowledge of web development best practices throughout my career, but my true passion is within games.
Over the past decade – in addition to my web development day job – I’ve contributed game reviews to various websites, ran a Nintendo news blog, and kept an ear to the ground in relation to the gaming industry at large, with a particular interest in the indie scene.
It’s with this in mind that I’m now looking to merge my passion with my skillset, and pivot into designing and developing bespoke websites for independent gaming studios who may not have the experience or availability in-house.
I can help with any of the following:
Anything from a simple hype-building landing page with email capture and wishlist call-to-actions, to a fully-featured marketing-led website designed to sell your game, build a community, and support its entire lifecycle – from announcement to post-launch support.
Sell physical merchandise or digital content directly from your own website’s storefront.
This could be used to share developer diaries, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, press releases for the media or post-launch patch notes for your community.
Share lore, character bios, story timelines, world maps and more, to build hype around an upcoming title or engage your active playerbase outside the confines of your game world.
For growing studios looking for an investor or publishing partner, showcase your development timeline, pitch decks, sales data and financial reports.
Although, I’d probably recommend setting up a Discord server instead!
Much of my existing work is completed under NDA, but please don’t hesitate to get in touch to request a portfolio or with any questions you may have.
